Paper Mashy Dolls & Handicrafts! Owned by Ramani Yellapantula, Artefakt #NAGPURDOLLS is an initiative undertaken to rekindle the art of doll making. The workshop consists of 15 women from lower socio-economic strata, who have no formal experience in the field of art and craft. Through this initiative, they aim to build and expand a sustainable livelihood for every individual. Taking into account the rise of plastic usage and its repercussions, these papier mache dolls are made from recycled newspaper and plant-based gum, thus making it eco-friendly!
